The Wedding Ceremony

South Indian weddings (aka Kalyanam) have a number of rituals and
customs, each symbolic of beautiful and noble sentiments. As you
reach the venue of the ceremony, you will notice things such as
full-grown plantain trees, the festoons overhead of mango leaves,
screw-pine petals that never fade, notes of the Nadaswaram, Kolam at
the doorstep, and the likes.
Do keep a lookout for the following rituals:
Kaashi Yatra, Saptha Padi, Showing the Arundhati Star, Pradhaana
Homam and Maangalya Dharanam
