Shakespeare & Me Young fifth grade pupils from Greece and Bulgaria worked together in a Virtual e-class community to share and present their learning experiences about Shakespeare and his world. The project inspired a brilliant interaction between Ralleios Experimental and Hristo Smirnenski Primary schools about the pupils’ explorations and responses to the theme, a wonderful production of Romeo & Juliet and a theatre workshop on Hamlet. Shakespeare learned Latin and Greek because he loved the tragedies of Aeschylus and Sophocles. He wrote “Hamlet”, “Romeo and Juliet” and the comedy “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.
