Also joining as part of the pre-AFCON 2013 recruitment drive, James' passion for African football stems from the Senegal World Cup team of 2002. A history PhD candidate at the University of Warwick, James will be watching AFCON 2015 from glamorous Coventry, and cites his favouite all-time African footballers as Didier Drogba and Nwankwo Kanu.

The most recent member to join the SFG team, Martin's love for Asian football means he has become a prominent member of our coverage from football outside of Africa. Playing a key role in SFG's Asian Cup previews, Martin will spend January neglecting those who love him to watch both tournaments.
