Salim Masoud Said

One of the founding members of Sandals for Goalposts, Salim is our head honcho, refusing to retire from his post until his native Tanzania come up with the Africa Cup of Nations trophy. His main interests include rice and living in Barking. He will be watching the tournament from the UK. His favourite all-time players are Seydou Keita and Serey Die.

Joining the SFG team just before the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, his obsession with Burkina Faso and Cameroon means he prefers them to his native England. He is an Arsenal fan, and will be in Equatorial Guinea for the tournament, pretending to be a journalist. His favourite all-time playes are Kolo Toure and Aristide Bance.
Maher has been a part of the SFG team since November 2012, joining to allow allow his passion for Algeria to flow. Living in Canada, he spends most of his time rewatching Algeria matches on YouTube, and is travelling to Algeria for the duration of AFCON 2015. His favourite all-time African fotballers are Karim Ziani and Mohammed Aboutrika.
