Wendy's?
Saturday, I was shopping with my sister and mom in Dubuque, Iowa and we got hungry so we decided to go get something to eat. We decided upon the Wendy’s in town by the mall. Pulling up to the little restaurant was a little tricky it seemed like, and we were not able to park in the handicap spot because some person was taking up part of the handicap spot and his spot. But that was not an omen for the trip, we got inside and the smells of the food were wafting around and hit me. I decided upon chicken nuggets and a bacon and cheese baked potato. I found our clerk to be a very polite person who answered our questions without giving us looks or anything. After ordering our food we got our drinks in one of the new pop dispensing machines, it was really nice, although I had never used one before so my sister had to show me how to use it. After figuring out how to use the machine, I decided upon strawberry lemonade. It was very good and I am glad I went with that. Then we went to our table and sat down and waited until our food was done. Once they got our order done, my mom went and got it and brought it back to our table. My sister and mom also got baked potatoes; only theirs were broccoli and cheese. They were all loaded with cheese, something that I really appreciated but my mom, who has a low tolerance to dairy, did not as much. We all enjoyed our food, although my mom commented that the skins tasted a little dirty but since I do not eat the skins it was not an issue for me. After eating, my sister and I decided to have a couple small chocolate Frosty’s, which I found to be very good however, when I went to order the Frosty’s I found the clerk to be kind of rude, and she was not talking very loudly, therefore I could not hear what she was saying, so I was having to say “What?” often, to which she got even ruder. So if told what to eat in Dubuque, I would say that the food was alright, and the staff was also good, although one was rude but I do not want to judge a whole staff by a single person. So therefore, I would suggest they go to Wendy’s but be careful.
