Felt Snowflakes

I live in Sydney, Australia but many of the lovley members on this website are from overseas, predominately UK and USA. In their countries snowflakes are really appropriate so I designed some gorgeous snowflake cookies with a die cut mold that I was given by lovely Emilia from The PaperCraft Hub (you can find her at all the craft shows). The details are up on the site, if you don't have a die cut machine, you can buy the kits ready to go from the shop.

Clay Decorations

I've seen clay decorations in just about every homewares store this year and they're gorgeous They are usually plain white and they often have a pattern on them, resembling a doily. When I saw them last I thought to myself, they just can't be that hard to make, so I bought some air dry clay, assuming most of you don't own a kiln! A few cookie cutters and rubber stamps later and tada out they pop, lovely little clay decorations, the project is up on the site to check out... You'll be glad you did

Edible Decorations

Every Christmas my daughter and I make cookies to hang on the Christmas tree.. We use cookie cutters in the shape of ornaments and when they are ready to decorate we use a liquid icing and a stiffer icing to create polka dot ornaments. They can also be decorated with many different designs depending on your cookie icing skills. They are great to use in advent calenders too, the kids will love helping.

These Christmas decorations can be for your own tree or table decorations and also make lovely gifts for friends and family, even school teachers. Wrap them up in lovely tissue paper once you've made them and pop them in a beautiful gift box and you have a fabulous gift to give.
