Child's Apron
When you buy aprons they often come in sets of three, as the set pictured did. I made the waist apron and a bib style child's apron too. Project will go up in the next day or so. It was really easy and looks fabulous, they would make great gifts for a mum and daughter, or even a grandmother and granddaughter. You could also make matching pot holders and oven mitts!

Library or Tote Bags
All kids need library bags, using a t-towel you can make one easily and quickly, project will be loaded up in the next day or so, check it out. You'll need one or two t-towels for a little contrast fabric, I used a different on each side and you'll also need some ribbon, and that's about it... easy and lovely!
For a tote bag, make it the same and use it for shopping, much nicer than the average green bag at the supermarket and super simple.

Cushion covers
Yes, really! If you buy the right kids of t-towels you can make gorgeous cushion covers from them. Just pop in a zip and sew the sides together. You can use different colours front and back for a bit of contrast. You could even make a pillowcase to match plain linen as t-towels are quite often jsut the right size and shape for a pillow.

Placemats
Cut your t-towel in half and hem the last side (use matching stitching) and you've got a lovely fabric placemat, just like that - how simple. Most t-towels are only about $10-$15 for a set of three and you'll have six placemats in jiffy!
