Shelter: A 24/7 emergency hotline and resource center in Portsmouth and Chesapeake for survivors of domestic violence. Support their Sweet Haven Baked Goods—cupcakes for a cause! The UpCenter: The region’s oldest and largest family services nonprofit, helping over 10,000 children, families and individuals in need each year. Please consider offering the gift of time this holiday season. Chesapeake Bay Foundation: Supporting conservation efforts to protect the Chesapeake Bay, providing education, research, and outreach opportunities. Funding for our future! Operation Christmas Child: From children to seniors, people pack shoebox gifts for children around the world. Year-round volunteers support these efforts across the country—and you can, too! CHKD: Donations fund critical services and help cover medical expenses for low income families. The King’s Daughters is the founding organization of CHKD and fundraises solely for the hospital.
