This activity is not to be missed! The Sami people, an indigenous people who live in Scandinavia, guide you on this activity that people of any age can do. Under the northern lights, being pulled by a reindeer in a sled, just like how the Sami people used to travel, is an unforgettable experience. After sledding, there is an opportunity to feed the reindeer. And afterwards, there is a delicious meal served inside a traditional Sami tent, called a lavvo, which is eaten during storytelling about Sami culture. This experience is unique to Tromsø and is something that you must do when in this part of Norway.
