Travel Keeps Me Young. There are days when I look in the mirrorlike after spending 30 hours on a bus without more than a couple hours of bad sleepthat I swear I've aged a few years. However, for the most part, travel keeps me feeling young. I am repeatedly impressed, awed and humbled by things I see and people I meet. Not to mention my fellow traveler’s age average about 15 years younger than me. They are carefree and adventurous, and their youthful energy and enthusiasm is contagious. One night in Tel Aviv I found myself at a slumber party with a bunch of 24 year olds; eight people in a two bedroom flat, five of us covering every inch of the living room. We finally went to sleep at 2:00 in the morning and none of them cared that I was old enough to be their mother. It was one of the most fun nights I'd had in a long time. When was the last time you went to a slumber party?
