Penguins are birds that don't fly. They are great swimmers. They catch their food underwater and raise their families on land. The largest penguin is the emperor penguin which is about 3.7 feet or 1.1 m tall. Penguins are threatened by climate change. In Antarctica the ice is melted for a longer time. This means that there is less habitat for the penguin and less food for them (krill depend on the ice too!)
