Artist: Simi Akintoye
This brochure documents the creative output of 22 International Baccalaureate Visual Arts students at Sevenoaks School. We hope that the work conveys a sense of the spirit of individuality and independence of the cohort. Openness and the freedom to explore personal interests and strengths are key to their output and we are pleased that their embrace of these qualities is evident. It is informative to read a former IB artist’ s review of how her current work has been informed by her experience of art at Sevenoaks and we are most grateful to Freya Sackville West for recalling her experiences in the introduction to this exhibition guide.
