“ Here Blair! Put it here.” Lily was showing Blair where to put her stuff. The Bass family of five was moving to a farmhouse in Rhode Island. Blair had already asked her mother about her room. Lily called Bella to tell them about their rooms.“ So as you know we didn’ t move into this house because we wanted to. It’ s because we couldn’ t really afford to have a house with more than four rooms. As your sister Brooke is sleeping with me; we have a kitchen, a living room, and one bedroom left. I’ m sorry, but you two will have to sleep in the same room.” Blair and Bella rushed to their room with anger.“ Why do I have to sleep with you? I’ m 14! I need some privacy.”“ Blair, I’ m 12, and I need some privacy too.”“ Let’ s start unpacking.” They started unpacking.“ By the way, the bigger closet is mine.” That night they were eating dinner.“ You know that you are going to your new school tomorrow, right?”“ Yeah mom, you told us a billion times. What was its name again?”“ St. Jude’ s.” Her mom was trying to understand if she was just joking.“ Sleep early,” she said to the girls. The girls went to their room. They put their pajamas on.“ Good night Blair.”“ Goodnight Bella.” The next day, the girls were excited about going to the school. They had a hard day. Blair by the end of the day had one friend. Bella had two. Blair and Bella were heading back home when Blair came up with an idea.“ Bella. Why don’ t we meet up with our new friends and go to that‘ mental hospital mystery house’ it sounds good.”“ Okay, I’ ll call my friends. Call your friend and mom too.” They asked for permission and planned to meet in 10 minutes. So, they went to the‘ mental hospital mystery house’. When they got there the instructor told them the rules.“ Look girls, there was a psychopath who was staying at this mental hospital. One day, she escaped. You need to solve how.”“ I’ m so nervous Blair.”“ Bella, come on, this is just a game.”“ Yeah, you are right, sorry.” They went into the hospital once the instructor said“ go”. Once inside, the girls were so stressed. There was a spooky music playing. In the first room they entered there was a bunch of syringes and they were trying to find a code. The second room they entered was the psychopath’ s room. There was a bed, serums which were different colors, a broken mirror which had handprints and blood on it, a rusty locker, and there was a vent. The girls looked through the vent. It was a hidden passage. They found a hand mirror.“ Guys, if we find the password for the hidden passage, I won’ t go into that!”“ Uh! Really Blair? Are you a baby? As you said this is just a game.” They found the password for the passage.“ Oh, I’ m not so sure about going inside.”“ I will go first. Mackenzie, follow me and Lauren follow Mackenzie.”“ I’ ll go after Lauren. Serena, can you be the last?”“ Okay, Blair, I’ m not a baby like you.”“ Ha-ha, you’ re so funny(!)” Blair was annoyed and trying not to show it.“ They entered and had to crawl to the end of the passage. When they were in the middle they heard a sound.“ Wait! Did anyone--”“ Yes, we heard it. Be fast and don’ t forget, this is just a game.” Blair wasn’ t so sure. She got the mirror and looked behind them. There was someone covered in blood.“ AAAAA!”“ Blair! What’ s wrong?”“ Serena behind you! Look!” Serena looked behind her. There wasn’ t anyone.“ Relax, Blair there isn’ t anyone.” Blair finally opened her eyes. She was still there.“ She is still there!”“ Can we just get out of this passage Bella?”“ Yeah, Kenzie is right.” They got out of the passage.“ Are you okay, Blair?”“ Umm am I? How can I be! I’ m so scared!”“ We need to solve this mystery, come on!” Now they were in the third room. It was a room which was half office and half hospital. There was a bed. It had a white sheet on it. On the white sheet there were handprints and blood. Suddenly, the TV opened. The girls were so scared. Then there was an announcement.“ There is someone who loose in the hospital.” The girls didn’ t know where it was going to come from.“ Where is it going to come from?”“ I think the hidden passage put your back to the door. We should face the hidden passage. They waited for 10 seconds there was a scream. They looked at the passage. As she turned back, she saw a bloody hand at the window of the door. She screamed. The girls looked at the door and screamed.“ Please! Help! Get us out of here! We aren’ t going to make it!” Blair hugged Serena and started crying. A minute later the instructor came and opened the doors.“ In the passage I saw someone covered in blood.” The instructor was confused.“ Dear, there wasn’ t anyone covered in blood. Probably you were so scared that you imagined that.” Blair was sure that it was real. She also didn’ t want anyone to think she was out of her mind. They were walking home.“ Serena! I’ m so sure! It was real and it was standing right behind you.” Serena rolled her eyes.“ Blair, admit it. There was nothing!” Blair was mad because nobody believed in her. They came home. They heard their mother running and saying“ I’ m coming!” A second later they heard a sound. A loud sound. Their mother opened the door.“ Sorry girls, I tripped.” The girl saw syringes on the floor. Blair had a flashback to the mental hospital.“ Bella! The first room. Syringes. Omg!” Bella was laughing.“ Why are you such a coward?”“ You’ re right. It’ s just a coincidence.”
