This year as the JMUN team we went to New York. It was my third conference and I think it was the best one. This was the biggest conference we went to. My committee room was in one of the ballrooms and there were around one hundred people in my committee. Since we were more experienced we had more fun. We had fun and also learned a lot. It was different from the other conferences so we learnt different things like new words. We didn ' t spend our time just with the conference. We also explored the city and had a city tour. We went to a lot of places some of which were the Empire State Building, Central Park, Natural History Museum, Broadway and Times Square. We saw a musical on Broadway called School of Rock and it was awesome. Overall, we had a very good time. I’ m so glad that I went to New York.
Burcu BAYSAK
As the JMUN team we went to New York for a conference. The first day there was a training session where we were told about what would be happening in the conference. The second day was only conference. This conference was different than the others so it was hard for us to understand what was going on. I was a delegate of Pakistan with Daniel and we were in the UNHCR committee. There were so many people in our conference room so we only had chance to speak twice. Second day was for conference and UN. Half of the day we debated and the other half we went to the UN for the closing ceremony. In addition to the conference we went on a city tour and shopping. The most interesting place I’ ve seen in New York was Natural History museum. It was huge and it had so many skeletons of dinosaurs which was so interesting for me. I also petted an albino lizard that was blind. It was an amazing trip for me and I fell in love with New York.
