Hunger Cues

Your newborn should be fed any time they seem hungry ( also called feeding on demand ). Newborns should be fed at least eight to twelve times in twenty-four hours . Newborns have several ways to let you know when they are hungry . Generally , it is best to begin feeding as soon as you notice any of these hunger cues . You can even begin feeding your baby when they are in a light sleep .
