Revenues, non-Scott listed and more. Mixed condition as usual
for this material, high cat with plenty of value.

1644-1865 INTERESTING ACCUMULATION
OF STAMPS & CINDERELLAS .................................. $400-600
Interesting group of stamp-like items and other non-Federal
postal material, with some on cover. Highlights include folded
letter from 1644, in French, unsure of origin; 1752 folded letter
Philadelphia to London with Bishop’s Mark, sent while
Benjamin Franklin was Philadelphia postmaster; Two examples
of wafer seals used to close and decorate envelopes in the 1850s,
one ‘At Last’ and other ‘Help me Through’; Two hotel mail
forwarding handstamps: Jones’ Hotel and Merchants’ Hotel,
both of Philadelphia (listed in ASCC); Three Providence, RI
postmaster provisionals, either reprints or forgeries (no printing
on back), including 5¢/10¢ pair; Blood & Co. Local stamp
(Scott 15L5); Carrier LO3 on piece with non-contemporary
cancel (1991 APS Cert); Private Die Playing Card stamps, five
different (Scott CV $36); Newspaper stamps PR1-4, used with
major faults, PR1 has blue ink stroke, others with smudges.
Eclectic grouping, fine and better.

Includes complete Airmails with line pairs (no C13-15
Zeppelins), good Special Deliveries, Postage Dues, Offices in
China through K14 and K17-18, complete mint Parcel Post &
Parcel Post Postage Dues and collection rounds out with
modern Officials. MINT never hinged, mainly in more modern,
hinged with some unused, no gum and few used. Some mixed
condition with most fine to very fine.

More than 550 mint Airmail stamps in small brown stockbook.
Includes C1 & C4 MNH, fine; then multiples of most basic
issues from C10//78 with singles, pairs, blocks and some plate
blocks (C10, 17, 23, 28-31). No Zeppelins. Duplication light
to moderate, overall fine to very fine. Both MINT never hinged
and hinged.

Includes three Musgrove’s orange 1¢, 2¢ and 3¢; a couple later
fantasies, a 3¢ U.S. entire with College of St. James, Maryland
cds; Eastman College 3¢ ‘banknote’ used for mock purchases
of the school’s stamps; orange piece with pre-printed 3¢ stamp
showing Liberty and ‘EBC’ (Eastman Business College), along
with 3¢ Washington postage stamp, both tied by 12/3/62
Poughkeepsie, NY cds. Interesting grouping, overall fine to
very fine. Mounted on annotated two exhibit pages.

Quantities of line pairs, pairs and singles of three coils: C37,
C41 & C52, and C51a booklets pane (x8). Fresh, MINT never
hinged, fine to very fine. Cat $858.

Group of 7 used stamps and one postcard from Offices in China.
Includes K1 light cancel, extremely fine Jumbo; K2 duplex
cancel, very fine; K5 light cancel, extremely fine; K8a light
cancel, fine to very fine; K10 parcel cancel, shallow thin, well
centered; K10 parcel cancel, fine to very fine; K17 Agency
postmark, fine. Additional color postcard showing child and
woman in kimono along Yokohama waterfront, mailed from
U.S. Postal Agency in Shanghai, franked with regular 1¢
Washington (#498) and sent to Minnesota c.1920. Fine to very

Oodles (many hundreds) of Plate Number Coils as singles or
in strips, loose or on cover, on album pages, in glassines,
bundleware, envelopes and small boxes. A few mint examples,
mostly precanceled or used, either on- or off-paper. Plenty to
choose from, from early Flags and Transportation coils up to
recent Bulk and American Design. Fine to very fine. Happy

Hundreds of MINT never hinged Plate Number Coil strips of
5 (PNC5) including tagging & gum varieties & precancels and
a few PNC3s & line pairs, in mounts in 2 Scott Specialty Series
Albums from Flag & Anthem #1891 thru Toys #3638-41.
Complete plate numbers for several issues. A few highlights
include (by Durland): #1891 PNC3 pl #1 (x2, Durland cv $30
each), Flag Over Supreme Court #1895 PNC5s for pl #1 (x3,
$50 each), pl #4 ($300) & pl #6 ($115), lots of Transportation
