Pictorial stamps, tied by double strike 2/15 Washington, DC,
town & cork cancels. Cover and stamps sound with typical
fine centering. Estimated cat $325.

Single with highly visible grill on cover bound for Vienna (via
Bremen). Cover bears attractive red Aug. 25 ‘NEW YORK
PAID ALL DIRECT’ marking near dead center, Sept 7 Hamburg
transit marking and (on reverse) Sept 9 Vienna receiving mark.
Stamp understandably has few perf faults with a tiny tear on
reverse, but this is a pretty cover. From long buried Ezra D.

Fine example with clear grill tied to July 1868 cover bound for
Ireland by ornate cork cancel. Stamp has light corner crease at
UL and cover small tear at top with partially missing flap. Still
scarce and nice. Part of long buried Ezra D. Cole stock. Cat $325.

by black New York circle of wedges cancel. Cover bears red
London Paid cancel, NY packet mark and Warrington receiver
