growing, 1st UP, moved LiveWire from his home to a business incubator located in Winston Salem, NC. In March 2009, LiveWire moved to downtown Greensboro where 1st UP began to really focus on his brand, releasing mix tapes “I AM NOT A RAPPER volumes 1 & 2”. He also was able to add to his musical resume, engineering tracks for hip hop recording artists such as for Freekey Zeekey of Dip Set, Tynitty of Infamous Mobb, & Project Pat. Riding the wave of success from his previous projects, 1st UP later released a series titled “Meet the Producers volumes 1 & 2”.

Never to be one who is complacent, 1st UP couldn’t just stop with producing and engineering but later went on to add videography as a niche under his belt. 1st UP has directed, filmed, and edited numerous music videos & an independent film. He filmed footage for the nonpartisan “Respect My Vote” campaign that featured footage and interviews of Jesse Jackson, 2-Chains, Alicia Keys, & Big Sean. He orchestrated the 1st local cypher video titled “The Red Cup Cypher”, which featured several of NC’s hottest rappers. For 2013, he anticipates more opportunities for growth in the area of videography. He has already been approached with filming several other movies in the area and will continue to delivering top notch music videos.
