Live to Serve, Love to Serve

Happy Kiwanis New Year everyone! Welcome to the second issue of Service Worth A Glance brought to you by the Circle K International Service Committee! The purpose of the newsletter is to encourage the sharing of ideas, projects, and videos amongst the entire membership and thus foster service in communities around the world. We really want everyone to feel appreciated for the work that they do and are happy to showcase them throughout our newsletter.

In this October/November issue, we recommend clubs and districts to take advantage of the upcoming holidays to get your members involved - whether it be hosting a pumpkin carving contest for UNICEF, collecting perishable food items for Thanksgiving, or celebrating World Prematurity Day on November 17!

We hope you all enjoy our newsletter and that you learn something new. Be sure to stay tuned for our next issue and we look forward to hearing from you!

The Tomorrow Fund

All clubs and districts in good standing are eligible to apply for a grant known as the Tomorrow Fund. The Tomorrow Fund is a great resource to any service projects, small or large, that are in need of money. The minimum amount you may request is USD $200 whereas the maximum is USD $2000. The deadline is December 1 so be sure to apply as soon as you can! As well, clubs and districts may apply for more than one service project. For more information, check out the Tomorrow Fund website.
