Lions Club of Jaffna Project Highlights 2016 / 17

Under the Governor ' s programme, totally 20 projects on an expense of Rs. 1.2Million were carried out to date, by which 8,350 people have benefitted. Engaging Youths through sports activities, protecting environment by tree planting events, Diabetes Awareness through educational programme and screening, educational assistance through scholarships, assistance to unsupported mothers for the education of their children, provided Laptop to a primary school and school kits to a school in Velanai and National amity( unity in diversity) through sponsoring cultural activities and releasing a book on Journalism are the projects conducted by us under District Governor ' s programme.
