This Centennial Year, I, as the Centennial District Governor, evaluating the strengths of the Membership in the Region, expects from your Regional Clubs, reasonably good contribution towards Administration and Service Activities. Whilst thanking the Region Chairperson, the two Zone Chairpersons and the Leaders of the Clubs in the Region for coming out with a Souvenir to mark the Regional Seminar & Zone Social, I together with my Lion Lady Ranji wish all the Members in the Region ' All the very Best ' for a remarkable Lionistic Year.
Let us together reach new Goals in lionism adhering to my Theme ' Humanity, Integrity and Sincerity in Service ' coupled with my 5 Point Program ' PRIDE ' and that of the International Centennial 4 Point Program, thereby strengthening the Lionistic Motto ' WE SERVE ' during this Centennial Year 2016 / 2017.
I also take this opportunity to wish all Lion Members and their Families in Region 8 ' Happy New Year- 2017’
