Step 1:

Insert the Orange bead onto the hook. Place the hook with bead in your vice and slide the bead towards the bend or middle of the hook shank.

Step 2:

Build a small thread platform with the Florescent Orange Thread for the bead to fit firmly over.

During July and August and sometimes way into September, trout are in spawning mode. This is a very frustrating time for fly fishing anglers. They can see the trout but not taking any fly nor showing interest in anything one cast at them.

The Egg Sucking Bugger imitates a leech or minnow nibbling away on a trout egg and making it an easy target for trout or, they are attacking the intruder stealing eggs. Whatever their intention, an easy meal or protecting the nest, the Egg Sucking Bugger works wonders.
