The Botha Family
So what is there to say about the Botha family? Or I think the better question to ask, is what there is not to say about the Botha Family! I think most of you will agree, that there is few families in the club that is a passionate about this wonderful sport we call fly fishing as the combined Botha family.
Since the day they joined the club I could see and feel the open and willingness to make friends with everyone and share any knowledge obtained with everyone at the club. I think what amazed me the most is how welcome they make you feel and how they are willing to go out of their way to assist and always be there for you.
Over the years we have become good friend and fishing buddies, and I’m sure that this will not end, even though there is thousands of miles between here and their new home in New Zealand.
Pieter, Adriana, Jaco and Daniel, you will surely be missed as part of the Jacaranda Fly Fishing Club. You are an inspiration to us, for showing us that sometimes you just need to set your mind to a trip, take the punch and go and experience all the wonderful fishing destinations out there, no matter what the costs or time.
I would like to thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us all.
You will have to go and explore those honey holes there in New Zealand, as I’m sure some of us will definitely take you up on the offer in the future going to fish those rich water down under.
All the best for this new adventure you’re about to embark on. We all know you will make a success everything that comes along your path. Know that you will always be part of the Jacaranda family and that you will surely be missed.
Tight lines and all the best till we see each other again slapping a few fly lines around.
