Summary:
Overall, Middelburg dam is a great venue and comes highly recommended for anglers of all level of skill. If you want to introduce someone to fly fishing (without going to a stocked trout pond), this is the place to do it. The environment clean and neat, the water is crystal clear and they are more than likely to catch their fair share of bass. To me, this will always be my home dam and you have to go a long way to beat it on a clear summer’s evening with no still wind and a fire crackling at your feet while a pair of jackal cry their evening song in the distance.
