“ Where Girls Become Women Who Transform the World ”
When I was growing up , this was the message that every aspect of my middle school and high school education and experiences were grounded on . I was fortunate to attend an all-girls school where the educators consistently challenged me to view the world outside the walls of the school . My education was rooted in social justice , a quite unique experience . My teachers were fearless ; they were perseverant in their passions and ever supportive in helping us find ours .
This mentorship and these relationships lasted long after I had graduated high school . Whether it was starting a new club in college or deciding to apply to dental school , I would call on these women , who had been and continued to be inspirations . Leadership is about the relationships and the experiences that inspire you to want to do better .
Leadership comes with admitting that there is still room to grow and more to learn .
