PDA legally formed a new company , the Pennsylvania Enterprise Resources Corp . ( PERC ), to oversee the endorsed vendor program now known as PDA Member Advantage .
PERC is also revising the endorsement agreements with these companies to include provisions that will afford additional marketing support for those companies that do more to win the loyalty of PDA members . Conversely , those companies in which members indicate a distinct lack of interest will , with appropriate notice , be dropped from PDA Member Advantage . And , PERC will be periodically surveying members who use PDA Member Advantage companies to monitor their satisfaction . All this should do much to instill confidence in PDA members concerning the value they can expect when dealing with a PDA Member Advantage company .
The two newest additions to PDA Member Advantage illustrate this perfectly . Office Depot , which is also part of ADA Member Advantage , offers members significant discounts on office supplies . Based on data from Dental Economics regarding dental practices ’ annual expenditures on office supplies , PERC estimates the typical PDA member can save over $ 800 year with the PDA member discount at Office Depot .
Another recent addition to PDA Member Advantage , Best Card , did their own calculations . They found that the typical member dental practice can save over $ 3,000 per year by switching to Best Card for processing credit card charges .
