Volunteerism
Publicizing the volunteer efforts and service
of our members is very important to us. In
this special issue of the Pennsylvania Dental
Journal we focus on some of the generosity
and the many ways in which PDA volunteers
help people in need, whether clinics, missions
and initiatives in our state, or on mission trips
to other countries. In a very meaningful way
you set a high standard for others in your
communities to follow. These efforts have
touched so many lives, and in the process,
fostered a greater appreciation for what
dentists do to enhance the overall health and
well-being of people everywhere. We hope
that the stories told here will inspire.
