IMPRESSIONS
continued
Stepping down off my soapbox, I want
to again remind you that PDA is always
working as your advocate and will continue
to do so. In an ideal world, every one of
our members would be in your face and
passionate about legislative issues and
advocacy, but our membership swings
wide on this; and I have seen many who
are content to belong, pay their dues and
support PADPAC, knowing that someone
is working to protect them. Heck I was
one of them for a long time, but I also
know it is important for those folks to
respond to an action alert from PDA or
ADA and contact their legislators when
needed. It only takes a few clicks of a
mouse. And just as important is your
supporting our PAC. Our lobbyists from
the Winter Group would tell you that the
legislators know PDA and our issues,
and that we can have influence with them
on our issues when all the pieces come
together.
I hope you enjoy this issue and take the
time to see what your PDA is doing for
you on the Hill. I also hope that you take
the opportunity for your voice to be heard
whether it is on a legislative issue or an
issue for your PDA leaders to address.
We want to hear you – this is YOUR
PDA!
