NATIONAL ASSISTED LIVING WEEK
Established by the National Center for Assisted Living ( NCAL ) in 1995 , National Assisted Living Week ® provides a unique opportunity for residents , their loved ones , staff , volunteers , and the surrounding communities to recognize the role of assisted living in caring for America ’ s seniors and individuals with disabilities . The annual observance encourages assisted living communities around the country to offer a variety of events and activities to celebrate the individuals they serve , as well as to help educate members of the public about this distinctive aspect of long term care .
September 12-18th is National Assisted Living Week . The theme will be compassion , community , and caring . The Pepperberry Suites will celebrate with fun activities all week that celebrate our residents and staff . Each day of the week will have a fun theme . Be sure to check the monthly calendar for each day ’ s theme and activities .

The residents will have opportunities to earn Fun Bucks all month long .
Winning Bingo , participating in activities and attending residents ’ council are all ways to earn Fun Bucks .
At the end of the month , there will be a store set up that accepts the Fun Bucks as payment .
