DEAN JOHNSON... I Hope We Can Still Be Friends
After spending over a decade bartending at Al ' s Tavern in Seattle, Dean Johnson recorded his first disc at age 50. Let ' s put it this way- he ' s seasoned! And the people he met along the way are the subjects of his songs. Dean makes a pact with you: He will sing you his truth in the most heartfelt and charming way possible, if you promise to keep an open mind. At times humorous, other times direct, Dean ' s songs look at life the way a bartender would- wishing he could help, while trying to keep a distance from what you know is tragic. It ' s a perspective you have to live to understand.
