Decorating Wedding Cake
Step 35
To prepare the fondant, roll it out into round or oval shapes with a thickness of about 2 to 3mm. There ' s no need for precision, so don’ t worry if they aren’ t perfectly uniform. I ended up making around ten pieces, each varying in size.
Step 36
To prepare the fondant, simply cut the rolled-out pieces in half and set aside
Step 37
To achieve a frilled effect on each fondant piece, take a small rolling pin and gently roll it along the rounded edges. This technique will enhance the visual appeal of your decorations.
Step38 Step 39 I wanted to create texture on each piece of fondant, I gently pressed a crumpled piece of foil against the surface. Repeat this to all your pieces and set aside.
To attach the decorations to the cake, I lightly steamed each tier, starting from the top and working my way down. This process created a slightly tacky surface that helped the pieces stick.
