Bold Feature Flower Let’ s create the stunning centrepiece for our cake- our bold feature flower!
Step 1 We’ re going to start by creating our pink petals. Follow the packet instructions to melt your pink Colourmelts in a microwave safe bowl until smooth and runny.
Step 2 Step 3 Place your 55mm circle cutter onto your acetate tray and spoon 1 tablespoon of pink Colourmelts into the cutter. While holding your circle cutter in place, tap the tray gently on the counter to flatten and even out the surface.
Pop the tray into the freezer for 4 minutes to firm up, before removing your circle from the cutter. Repeat this process until you have four pink petals. Remember to handle your Colourmelt discs by the edges to keep that shiny surface finish intact!
Step 4
To create your red centre, melt your red Colourmelts in the microwave and create a circle using the same process as above.
Step 5 We’ re going to assemble our large flower using the same method from our Flower Pattern instructions. Firstly, melt a small bowl of white Colourmelts to use as a glue to adhere your flower together.
