Cake layers and filling of your choosing , enough to make a double barrel cake White chocolate ganache Cocoa butter nibs Oil based food colouring in range of colours relevant to what you want to paint ( my preferred colours Are VIVID by Cake Craft Australia ) Lustre dusts or edible glitter for highlighting Fondant for 3D additions- bear , snow , hat , knit and buttons Knit , rope , small snowflake and button molds Wafer paper and powder colour for flowers Edible image for side details and base of topper- I search for vintage floral wallpapers on Pinterest to print out . Make sure you print your image lengthways on the paper Copies of images to refer to paint on to your cake- I find Pinterest has endless options for cute animals to use as references . I then add my own extra details such as flower crowns , beanies etc Plastic ball for top of cake , large enough to be in proportion with your cake , that can be opened , and large enough to fit your fondant animal ( I found one with a flat base , making it sturdy for the top of the cake ). Short set of string lights ( optional ) Cake lace mixture and lace mats Cake bows Food grade paintbrushes in various sizes Baking paper , measuring tape , marker Snowflake and name / age acrylics ( optional )
