Step 1 Place cake on your cake stand for ease of decorating .
Step 2 Make your stenciling paste by first mixing together some Rose Gold Lustre dust with decorators alcohol , then add some piping gel .
Step 3 Attach the stencil onto your cake at the top of the rustic edge with a pin on either side . Using your spatula , apply small amounts of the rose gold paste for the entire design and remove the excess with the spatula .
Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Using a clean dry soft brush , apply some Rose Gold Glitz to the bottom vine leaves with the stencil insitu .
Carefully remove the pins and the stencil peeling it back slowly . Wash and dry the stencil and repeat the process around the cake . TOP TIP : Rinse off the stencil in cold water so that there is no warmth in the stencil as this may cause melting of the ganache and spreading of the paste .
Using small amounts of the chocolate fondant , make your flowers and bees . You will need approximately : 2 of each of the 3 smaller blossom flowers from the Katy Sue mold . 5 of each of the larger 2 daisies , then 12 of the middle size , and 15 of each of the 2 smallest sizes . 6 bees PRO TIP : If you are struggling to remove the fondant from the molds , you can either lightly dust the mold with cornflour , place the mold in the freezer for 5 mins then remove the fondant , or very lightly spray the mold with canola oil prior to use .
