5th Frigiliana Art Route !
In such a special year as 2021 , the Frigiliana Art Route reaches its fifth edition with more enthusiasm and creativity , if that was possible . We will have more than 50 artists of 15 different nationalities , showing their works in 29 locations throughout the village . You can find them marked in the brochure that will guide you through this charming artistic tour in one of “ The most beautiful villages in Spain ,” between white houses and beautiful winding streets . You can also participate in workshops of plein air painting and also of paper-art , as well interact in a video installation and even go back to the cinema . Three days full of art and activities in a safe environment . The 5th Frigiliana Art Route 2021 will thrill you ! Visit it from the 1st to the 3rd of October from 11am to 2pm and from 4pm to 8pm .
You will have the opportunity to meet each artist personally and chat with them and discover the secrets of their creative process . You can visit the studios of many of these artists and you will even find some of them working in the moment at their location .
There will be as many disciplines , techniques and styles as authors : painting , drawing , photography , sculpture , encaustic , textile , paperart , art povera , calligraphy , collage ...
Among the novelties of this year we want to highlight the possibility to participate in the following workshops and activities : - Plein Air painting workshop ( Spanish & English ) with the artist Alejandro Carpintero from Madrid : on Saturday 2nd from 4pm to 7pm and / or on Sunday , October 3rd from 11am

- The projection of the video installation September Flora by the artist Alberto Tarsicio . Friday to Sunday from 7pm to 8pm at the sports pavillion .
- Go back to the cinema with the documentary film “ Colores Al Opio , La Prostituta y El Pintor ” by the painter Alejandro Carpintero and premiered at the MEAN Museum in Barcelona in April of this year . Passes on Friday 1st of October and Saturday 2nd at 8:30 pm at location no . 2
One more year , we want you to enjoy the walk and art in an environment full of charm , beauty and creativity , with all the preventive health measures in force at the time .
And to make your journey easier , we will provide you with information brochures with a map showing where you will find the 29 locations and an example of the work of each artist . In addition , we will also have a QR Code so that when you scan it with your mobile phone you will have access to the entire brochure of the 5th Frigiliana Art Route 2021 .
