LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Dear members of SJGCC ,
Aerification went well and looks like the greens are healing in nicely . We are excited with the outcome of the process this time around and hope to incorporate these methods in the future . The lack of disruption to the playing surface has been nice and we appreciate your cooperation in giving us the full day closure in order to complete the project .
This week we aim to start on some sod work on the golf course and some areas around the club . On course we will be concentrating on a lot of the worn areas around the bunkers and a few smaller areas in play . We are also working on plugging and repairing some of the thin areas on the greens and hope to have those fixed ASAP .
The rain has been nice , and everyone loves green grass , but I am ready for some drier weather and consistent sunshine . Some areas on course we are having a hard time getting into and mowing on a regular basis . We greatly appreciate your patience through these wet and soggy times .
