Erin McGinn, who
photographed
this month’s At
Home, is a natural
light lifestyle
photographer.
Inspired by
analog film, she
describes her
style as soft and sunkissed. She has been
published on the cover of Yankee
magazine and featured in Edible Rhody
and the New York Times. When she isn’t
snapping life, food and fun you can find
her with an iced coffee, browsing thrift
shops or kayaking to a hidden beach.
Erin lives in a bungalow in Lakewood with
her husband and their foster pups.
Brad Smith likes
shooting for RIM
[“Your Town”]
because it gives
him the chance to
meet local
business owners
and see the
products and
services they offer to our community.
“The CBD center was no different,” he
says. “They’re a relatively new player in
today’s world and they’re navigating both
being a new business and being a little
misunderstood by some, with grace.
They aim to educate the public instead
of just blindly selling their products.”
“I love what Gina
is doing with
Eternal jewelry
because I think
it’s a really
beautiful solution
to what to do with
fresh flowers,” says
Julie Tremaine
about her story in this month’s Current.
“I’m always drying flowers that are
meaningful to me, but then I never know
what to do with them afterwards. I think
trashing them really bothers people;
I have friends who ask not to be given
flowers because they hate the idea of
that kind of waste.” Having something
wearable, she says, where you can
carry those memories and emotions with
you and you never have to throw those
flowers away, is a nice idea.
