Mack continued, “This year Red side had the numbers over Blue. While it was unfortunate that we didn’t have the opportunity to play both sides all weekend, because we stayed on Blue Side for much of the event to help them out with numbers, the Renegades are used to balance out the game and that is what we were there to do. I can tell you that Team Renegades shot a lot of paint and had even more fun! There were countless battles on the field, every time we pushed Red back, they came back with their numbers and pushed back just as hard.” Early on in the game on Saturday the Red Team dominated, winning the first three objectives on the Airfield, Trench field and Ice Station Zebra. Blue fought back had winning the 12:30PM minor mission and the Lego Land main mission at 1PM. But before Saturday’s game even started Blue Team won the Magfed game, while Red won Spoils of War and the Night Ops game. Incidentally, Tim Worley won the one on one Pistol Challenge—this was more of a demonstration game as there were no game points awarded for the Pistol Challenge. 030 paintball.media magazine
