Night drew near and everyone was getting
for—but he also gives us some leeway to make
decisions on our own as well.”
This was the second year in a row that the
Brandon and the Apex Predators had the
opportunity to lead the Renegades—and they
did not disappoint, bringing more than 35
players to the game themselves.
Mack continued, “This year Red side had the
numbers over Blue. While it was unfortunate
that we didn’t have the opportunity to play
both sides all weekend, because we stayed on
Blue Side for much of the event to help them
out with numbers, the Renegades are used
to balance out the game and that is what we
were there to do. I can tell you that Team
Renegades shot a lot of paint and had even
more fun! There were countless battles on
the field, every time we pushed Red back, they
came back with their numbers and pushed
back just as hard.”
Early on in the game on Saturday the Red Team
dominated, winning the first three objectives
on the Airfield, Trench field and Ice Station
Zebra. Blue fought back had winning the
12:30PM minor mission and the Lego Land
main mission at 1PM.
But before Saturday’s game even started
Blue Team won the Magfed game, while Red
won Spoils of War and the Night Ops game.
Incidentally, Tim Worley won the one on
one Pistol Challenge—this was more of a
demonstration game as there were no game
points awarded for the Pistol Challenge.
