Supergame Maryland 2020 Now in its third year at OXCC, Supergame Maryland has grown in numbers each year. This year’s game had just under 400 players, a huge success by any big game standard. OXCC (Outdoor Extreme Chesapeake City) is one of the must-attend fields in the U.S. and experiencing it in a big game like this is priceless. The fields have so much variety— from sloping hilly grounds, to trenches, towers, forts, open fields, thick overgrown fields, downed helicopters and more. Saturday’s main game began just after 10 AM and within minutes the battles began. Brandon Mackafee was General of the Yellow Renegades, Dezi Johnson commanded the Red Challenger team and Rahin “Briktop” Jones ran the defending champion Blue Team. For those not familiar with scenario big games, there is often a “third” unit or team included in the game. And most often that third team’s job is to balance out the sides should they favor one team or the other. Brandon Mackafee’s team Renegades Yellow was just that. Renegades General / Team Captain of the Apex Predators, Brandon “Mack” Mackafee told us, “The main objective for Team Renegades (Yellow Team) during SuperGame is to balance out the game as much as we can and to make sure everyone has a great time. For the most part, the Renegades are controlled by the game producer, so he will tell us when to go on the field, when to get off, what side to play www.paintball.media 023
