eat! A trained Grove animal handler
will help shed light on some of the
common misconceptions about
these legless wonders. Children
under 12 must be accompanied by
an adult. Adults and children must
register separately.

Join us virtually via ZOOM with a
real live bee keeper as we explore a
real live bee hive. We’ll discover the
world of bees and learn why they are
so important to the life cycle of many
of your favorite fruits and vegetables.
Learn what bees like to eat, where
they live, and how they help people.
This program is intended for children
8-13 years old. Younger children are
welcomed to visit with the help of a
parent.

MUSHROOM MANIA
Join us as we shed some light on
our friend the fungus. Unearth the
mystery of what a mushroom is, how
fungus grows, and their benefits to
our ecosystems. Dress appropriately
as we will head out on a hike to
find the many different kinds of
fungus that grow at The Grove. No
mushrooms will be collected on our
hike. Space is limited. All participants
should register separately.

through hands-on activities.
Kennicott Girls Club provides a fun
STEM-focused learning environment
designed to empower children to try
new things, think outside the box,
and develop confidence. This fall is
