NCS Selects Its 18th Jurist of the Year, but Recipient’s Name Remains Secret
Announcement Delayed by the Coronavirus
Not even COVID-19 will stop the North County Section from selecting its 18th annual Jurist of the Year
recipient, but the judge’s name will not be revealed until we can safely meet again in person. The Board
of Directors is planning a grand celebration for its 19th annual Jurist of the Year in 2021 where they’ll honor
two outstanding judges. Until then, the name for this year’s Jurist of the Year award will be kept secret.
Which Judges name is engraved on our 2020 Jurist of the Year award? No one knows! NCS Immediate
Past President Wayne Richter holds the sealed award, but don’t bother asking Wayne whose name is
engraved – he doesn’t know either!
