BAVARIA END OF SEASON AWARDS
2018/19
NETBALL
The Bavaria Player of the Season award was given to Jade Sanchez for the 2018/19 campaign.
Jade has shown great versatility this past season having played in a number of positions, in defence and attack. Her commitment to the club cannot be questioned and she always gives her best when playing for the team.
Jade Sanchez: "I am extremely grateful for another year with this hardworking team. Despite an unfortunate ending to the season we are already making exciting changes ready for next season. Watch out for the Pinks!"
BASKETBALL
After a hugely successful first year for the newly named Bavaria Blue Stars, it was Nicky Gracia who stood out in all competitions for Bavaria. His efforts and attitude duly rewarded with the Bavaria Player of the Season award. Nicky also earned his first senior call-up to the Gibraltar national team for the Island Games as a result.
FUTSAL
The Bavaria Player of the Season award, decided by the coaching staff, was awarded to Chris Remorino. After 3 full seasons, Chris holds the current record for the most appearances for the Pinks. His attitude is an example to others in his defensive position and his recent performances have seen him promoted to Vice-Captain of the team.
