A Letter to Chamber Members

ear Chamber member:
The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is completing
another exciting year thanks to the commitment and support
we receive from you. At over 440 members, we are a strong and
active presence in our community; striving to cultivate a robust
business environment.
Thank you for your continuing membership in the Shelby
County Chamber of Commerce. As we look forward to 2018,
please let us know what we can do for
you. We appreciate your feedback and
suggestions for improvements to keep us
all moving forward.
In April, our Leadership Shelby County
program graduated our second class since
the programs relaunch with 25 community
and business leaders eager to contribute to
Shelby County. Make sure to participate in
our upcoming events for 2018 including
our Annual Dinner to be held in March,
the Cash Bash in April and our Job and
Career Fair in May.
We will once again publish our Chamber
Business Directory and Community Guide.
This publication will include a complete
listing of all Chamber members, by name and business category,
as well as important information about our community. The
Chamber will be contacting you about your participation in this
year’s guide.
Our Chamber Business Directory and Community Guide
will be distributed to area businesses, residents and Chamber
members. In addition, our 2018 Directory will be available to
visitors, tourists, new residents and those who are considering
relocating to our area. We will be printing and distributing
4,000 copies of the directory, with over 1,500 mailed to every
business in Shelby County.
The Chamber’s continued mission is to promote our
membership and our community. Our annual directory is a
valuable resource and an opportunity to advertise your business
at a reasonable rate. Only Chamber members will be invited to

advertise in the 2018 Business Directory.
▶ ▶ You will receive a complimentary alphabetical listing for
your business. In addition, the main contact for your
business will be listed alphabetically for easy reference and
networking opportunities.
▶ ▶ You will receive a complimentary listing under the category
heading that best describes your business, services, or
products.
▶ ▶ As a Chamber member, you will have
the opportunity to purchase advertising
space to gain publicity for your business at
a reasonable cost and to help raise funds to
support Chamber programs and events.
Please let us know if the information
regarding your business has changed. The
Chamber’s database will be the source for
this directory and we want to make sure our
information is up-to-date.
Do not hesitate to contact us if you have
any questions about the Chamber’s Business
Directory and Community Guide, your
complimentary listings or display ad space.
