Page 7 THE MAGAZINE ROOM September Already Labor Day weekend is the last 3 day weekend of summer. And every year I have been out covering shows from state to state. This year the editorial staff chose to spend it with our spouses and children. This year my daughter started Kindergarten and made me realize the time is passing by and I need to spend more quality time with her and the wife before it s too late. Don t get me wrong I still will be traveling to shows, just not as many as I have in the past. Remember your truck, car or project will be there waiting on you when you get time, however your little one will not. Enjoy them as much as you can, soon they will be grown and married with their own kids. Now for the details of this first month of fall. On this month s cover we have the stunning Miss Prada draped on Richard Half Dead Knip s 1990 Toyota P/U aka Freak Show. Make sure to check out the sick details in the interior. Next we have Rob Big Deuce Brown s Ms Wetwett 1996 Nissian Hard Body. This is 5 star entertainment brought to you from the dirty south. Then we have Project 58 built by Fesler Built in Arizona. The owner of this beast is Brian Fuenties of the Oakland Athletics. Finally we have Mark Charles 1967 Chevelle Super Sport aka Grape Ape. Boitnott Customs in Fairfield, Ohio had their hands all over this build. Shows this month include Relaxin in So Cal on the West Coast shot by Robert Rosales. Down south we have coverage of the Third Coast Nationals in Texas courtesy of Brad Stillwell. Chromey in the Sin City was on hand for the festivities at the Simply Chubb hosted by Simply Choice C.C. Last but not least Hartley and myself covered the street and parking lots surrounding Phoenix Hill Tavern in Louisville, KY for Beatersville Car Show. Don t forget to checkout www.project6shooter.com for the complete built of our newest SEMA build Project 6 Shooter. The build is a rebuild of project 6 pack that we stopped the show with at sema 2009. This year will be no different with a full western theme and the most radical air brush work at the show. We guarantee it! Until next month, reserve those rooms for SEMA, keep on those projects and midgets need love too. Dan Double D Davis Editor ‒ Gauge Magazine
