rule book, practicing the royalty salute ride with Brody, and reading my speech over and over until it was just right. And, of course, I was constantly refreshing Facebook Marketplace, searching for the perfect wardrobe upgrades that fit my budget.
Now, as Champ Show approaches, I’ m excited for everything the next few weeks has in store: the Special Olympics Horse Show, the WSCA Royalty Banquet, EquiMania at the State Fair, and plenty of horse shows along the way. I’ m going to live in the moment and enjoy these last few months I have as the 2025-2026 WSCA Ms. Games.
To the women competing in this year’ s contest, I wish you all the best. Enjoy every moment and soak it all in. Make the most of every interaction, build those connections, and do it for the love of horses. I can’ t wait to see you all at champshow and see what your stall decorations look like( my favorite part of the contest).
To anyone waiting for the“ perfect” time to enter the contest or take a leap outside your comfort zone, here’ s one thing I’ ve learned: there will never be a perfect time. Take the chance anyway! You may discover it’ s one of the best decisions you’ ll ever make.
