HG : It would be full integration of all three departments . With this , it ’ s possible to refine programs and identify success factors as you keep analyzing the results . Let ’ s say we have a client that has a lift in online sales . Through analytics , we are able to track how and when the sales lifts are happening . Let ’ s say we had a major publication feature the product and this correlated with a pretty intense spike in sales for the company . Sometimes this is a delayed correlation because when the article appears , the sales don ’ t appear to happen that very day , but through time you start forming these correlations . That analytical approach is so crucial and important because that will give you information on what ’ s working . The company needs to have a very synergistic and holistic approach in its messaging on all these channels , which is important because you don ’ t want to be saying something different on your sales channels than on your social media or public relations channels . That ’ s how you create what we call the grand brand identity in a consumer ’ s mind .
