Step 4:
Insert the hooked wire into the SFP( Sugar Florist Paste) oval and with the small scissors make two cuts as shown on image. Repeat steps 2-3 to make 6 of these. Leave to dry for a few hours.
Step 5: Step 6:
Roll some SFP and using the Catleya cutters cut 6 throats, 18 small sepals and 12 large petals.
Insert a piece of No 26 florist wire into a sepal and thin the edges on a foam pad as shown. Vein the sepals with the orchid veiner. Repeat these steps for the all sepals. Leave to dry overnight.
Step 7: Step 8:
Repeat steps 5 to 7 with the 12 large petals.
Thin the edges of the throat and vein them with the orchid veiner. Repeat for the remaining 5 throats.
Step 9:
Brush a little edible glue onto the V-shape part of the throat.
