We spoke with three
men who have been
making big strides
in entertainment.
You can see them
on YouTube doing
parodies of everything
from the anointing of
a bishop to king of the
world, to things church
girls say. I’m talking
about The Playmakers:

sense of humor. I think laughter is a medicine, that’s in the
bible, and church people can take themselves too seriously.
Sometimes you need a little bit of levity. We’ve had
testimony after testimony of someone saying “I was really
down, or someone died, and your videos were the only thing
that made me feel better”. Why would God not use that gift
[comedy] to uplift His people? Everyone doesn’t have to like
it, but just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean the person
is going to hell.
Jason: I agree with Kevin. Kevin answered it the way we all
would have. People like to say the things we do in our videos
