Europeans are positive about 5G , they believe it will improve their user experience and intend to deploy it to empower their own business , according to a new pan-European 5G sentiment survey from telecoms association ETNO . Meanwhile , a new report by the Centre for Policy Studies suggests that delays to the rollout of 5G could cost the UK tens of billions of pounds in lost economic output .
Separate reports suggest that Western Europe will have 191m SVoD subscriptions by 2025 and that the total revenues of the TV market in Western Europe amounted to € 101.9 billion in 2019 . Finally , UK comms regulator Ofcom ’ s second Mobile Matters report analyses how around 200,000 people used their Android mobile phones between January and April this year , shedding light on how people make calls and get online on the move , revealing marked differences in how people used their phones before and during the initial Covid-19 lockdown period .
