UEFA unveils new Champions League brand
With the launch of the innovative new UEFA Champions League format , governing body UEFA says it is unveiling ‘ Kick of Light ’ – a new UEFA Champions League brand identity , designed to support the latest evolution in the world ’ s most famous club football competition .
The UEFA Champions League delivers what the body calls unique , emotional and captivating experience for clubs , players and fans alike . Those characteristics are at the heart of the new brand , which includes a reworking of the iconic starball and accompanying visuals – the ultimate stage stadium and its striking starball dome .
Kick of Light is based on the characteristics of a prism , which breaks white light shone through it into an endless array of colour . The UEFA Champions League starball and the stadium dome are now made of glass , and the colours move playfully around the edges of the stars , representing the array of clubs competing in the league phase . While the brand identity has evolved , iconic elements such as the logo remain unchanged .

Serie A , Ligue 1 go DTC in UK
Platform-based football media company OneFootball and Lega Serie A have agreed a partnership to deliver coverage of Italy ’ s top-flight football league to fans in the UK and Ireland for the 2024 / 2025 season . Through the newly launched Home of Serie A , the direct-to-consumer streaming service will provide live access to all 380 Serie A matches .
By integrating Home of Serie A channel into its offerings , One- Football continues to expand its portfolio of OTT partnerships , which already includes streaming services from Sky Deutschland , DAZN , MagentaSport
